Sometimes we lose direction to find our way. Grace brings us back stronger than before. In fact, what feels like a wrong turn might be just what you need to find your way. Many circumstances are beyond your control. Even so, you have control over how you respond. God is ultimately in control of the outcome. If life takes you down a rough road, hold on tight. You’ll get through the ride, stronger than before.
While you may need to stick it out and go through dry seasons in life, don't be afraid to step into something new. While change is inevitable, it isn’t always easy. There’s a chance you'll step into what you thought were greener pastures only to encounter dry patches along the way. Whatever the case, you have to be willing to step out to find out. Change is a part of life, and it’s the only way to grow. Growth will stretch you. Don’t let it break you. Learn as you grow. Grow into your potential. And with the right attitude, your grass can be greener on either side.
Change your perspective and your life will start to change. At every crossroads, you have a choice. You can let frustration set in, or you can allow challenges to change you for the positive. If you wait for perfect circumstances, you’ll shortchange yourself and others. You have a purpose. A prerequisite isn’t that you be perfect. The world isn’t waiting for a perfect version of you. It’s waiting for a genuine version of you.
What if the leaves were to say I refuse to change? They might not transition from shades of green to red, orange and yellow. Maybe they would fail to fall from the trees. They may not be willing to share branches with neighboring flowers and leaves. While there’s beauty in transformation, there’s also resistance. Every stage of life involves uncertainty and risk. Even the calmest of periods is made up of rainy and sunny days. If we hope to grow, we have to be willing to embrace change.
Imagine that you’re driving down a long road. This trip is different than many others, as you don’t have a navigation system or a map to follow. While your vision is clear, the destination is uncertain. Yet you know exactly where you want to end up. There are detours, exits, rest stops and obstacles along the way. Some take you down dark, empty side streets. Others lead to lush scenery and roads paved with success.
