In thinking about a leaf, it doesn’t grow overnight. And the tree from which it originates goes through many stages of growth. The same tree that soaks in rays from the sun stands through countless storms.
You can’t always change your circumstances, but you can change the way you look at them. If you are going through hard times, challenge yourself to change.
If you wait for perfect circumstances, you will shortchange yourself and others. You have a purpose, and a prerequisite isn’t that you be perfect. The world isn’t waiting for a flawless version of you. It’s waiting for a genuine version of you.
