Imagine you’re running late for work. You get to the office in a rush. You’re close to the elevator when you drop a piece of paper. Others behind you are running late as well. Looking back, you catch a glimpse of the crowd.
What happens if you stop abruptly to pick up the piece of paper you dropped? If others are rushing behind you, it’s likely you’ll bump into someone. If there’s a wall, you might just hit the wall.
This happens when living in the moment, while at the same time focusing on the past. Trying to pick up pieces from the past ultimately leads to hitting walls in life. Living in the moment with a right attitude will set you on a correct path.
